Oh, Mother's Day!

It started off with us anticipating a FULL day of family, food, friends and fun. We were planning on having brunch with Grammy and Grampa, and then dinner with the Hamon family. Fun fun! Then the day took a turn the FIRST time Addy threw up all over the place. We considered it a hiccup and thought it was because she had just had a lot of milk and then proceeded to dance all over the place. Time to take a bath and clean her up! We were getting ready to make a trip to the store to pick up a few things, we're all dressed and ready to go. Then BLAMO, more puke. This is no good! So we cancel plans with everyone so that Addison, AKA the puke monster, can rest and get better. We spent the rest of the day watching the Celtic's play (Go Rondo!!! Addison loves him as much as Mommy does) and cleaning up random puke throughout the day. 6 loads of laundry later, and the Celtic's with another win, our day was through.

And what did I get for Mother's Day you ask? Well, let me tell you. Nathan got me the most gorgeous necklace!! It's sterling silver and has three miniature rings on it, each with the birthstones for October, January and July. Each of his girls birthday's :) I love it! He did a great job spoiling me this year.

Cute little tidbits about the girls:
Addison was getting some babies together so that we could take them to the store with us. One for her and one for Darci, of course. She happened to pick up a dolly that my Mom, Grandma, had given to her. I asked her "Do you remember who gave that dolly to you?" and she says "GRAMMA!!" It just about melted my heart that she remembered that. So then I asked her, "Do you know who gave that dolly to Darci" she said she didn't. So Nathan says "Alexia got that dolly for Darci". Addison says, "No, not FOUR Darci, ONE Darci!!!" :)

Darci is getting ready to be mobile. She took 4 steps the other night, while walking from me to Daddy. She was so proud of herself!! Then she fell on her face, but that's besides the point. She's been getting more and more brave when it comes to standing up on her own and trying to move around the house. Darci also got her 5th tooth a couple days ago. She pops those out like a champ because we didn't even know her teeth were hurting her.

Over and Out!
